1982 Jeep Cherokee for sale. Been my project car for about 4 years now, gone through most of it but could still use a little TLC left, but she starts, runs and drives great.  Does good on highways and off-road, calculated 17 mpg.Flushed plastic tank and installed new fuel sending unit and fuel lines, installed electronic MSD distributor, rebuilt steering column, redid interior with highback seats in vinyl and installed new carpet kit, full glass and door weatherstripping kit was installed same time I had it professionally repainted in a 2-stage black metallic, rebuilt the carburetor, less than 2,000 miles on new Goodyear Wrangler tires, real main seal and head gasket among other seals have been replaced.Can be daily'd or used as a dedicated off-road rig, the AMC 4.2 is strong and easily switched to fuel injection with a modern 4.0 head.Feel free to make reasonable offers!The vehicle is located in Northern California, and has always been a California vehicle with no rust at all.
