An old world charm from the late ‘20s can be yours with the 1927 Dodge Rumble Seat Roadster that has benefitted an older restoration.

MotoeXotica currently has a rarely seen 1927 Dodge Roadster with rumble seat in our showroom. Right from the get-go. the interior still has the 1920s feel with the original gauges. A volt gauge and oil pressure gauge are readable. The moto-meter clocks speed with a horizontal disc rather than a needle. Current mileage reads 219 and is not believed to be actual but since restoration.

The unique feature about this American classic is the rear rumble seat which is in good overall condition. The step plates used to get up on the seat are factory original. The car is equipped with a three-speed manual transmission. The engine is a 212-CID L-head four-cylinder. This Roadster comes with a nickel-plated radiator shell and windshield stanchions.

The maroon and eggshell exterior keeps its old-world feel without 85-plus years of wear. The lacquer paint shows well and is in good condition overall. but some chips and flaking are present. The headlights are drum with nickel trim. The convertible top is original and in good overall shape. The 116-inch wheel base chassis comes with semi-elliptical leaf spring suspension. The wheels are all original.

The interior is a matching maroon vinyl. and the doors have the correct maroon door pockets. As you grip the classic wooden steering wheel. know that it is the original steering wheel put on in 1927.
