1987 Toyota Supra

Relisting as someone from Brazil hit buy it now and had no intention of buying. Supra lovers dream with just 64K Miles! This 1987 Toyota Supra is finished in Dark Blue Pearl over blue cloth and is powered by a 3.0-liter normally aspirated inline-six mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes pop-up headlights, fog lights, newly powder coated 16″ alloy wheels, tons of new parts (see below), new tires, automatic climate control, the original digital cassette stereo, and the installed Sony XAX-AX5000 media center. The car has been registered in New York for this year only and was acquired by me in December 2020. I absolutely love driving it and it turns heads all day long. It runs perfectly and is a blast to drive. I owned one brand new back in 1987 and searched long and hard for one as original and clean as this one. It kills me to have to sell it (lost my job) and hope it goes to someone who can appreciate how special this one is. Back Story - Original owner had car for 33 years (no service records from that time). Prior to me acquiring it sat idle for 10 years and then had brakes, new tires, exhaust and passed Pennsylvania inspection and was put up for sale. As a true Supra fan and lover, I was ecstatic to find such a clean, low-mileage one owner car and bought it and started the light restoration with focus on originality except for the radio. I have all service records for this year which include: painted lower portion under the molding all around, front and rear bumpers, grill, hood, cowl, replaced windshield and moldings, front and rear suspension struts, replaced timing belt, replaced front hood and rear hatch struts, valve cover gaskets, replaced oil and rear differential fluids, transmission service and slave cylinder, tune up with replacement plugs, cap, rotor, wires, air and fuel filter. Coolant service and radiator hoses, replaced brake hoses, adjusted emergency brake, new radio and front speakers, AC conversion to R-134a, replaced accumulator, O-rings and fittings, Clean Carfax report and a clean New York title in my name. Remaining work to achieve perfection: it needs a spring to get gas latch to open properly, dome light not working (fuse or lamps?), passenger side power window switch is intermittent. Antenna does not always go all the way down ( may stay up and inch to 5" or so). Cosmetic – rear hatch lock cover is cracked and missing a piece, but lock works fine. Has 2 small dings, one really really small ding and a slight deformation on the driver's side headlamp cover. I believe all can be repaired by dent-less service. Like many of these models there is a slight lifting of the body molding in two places, but not as bad as I have seen on others. The interior features immaculate cloth seats showing almost no wear! The pictures are a little washed out from the bright sun and the color is deeper and richer than appears. Along with a blue dashboard, center console, door panels, original floor mats and carpet. The original driver's side floor mat has wear - the passenger side looks great. The seating surfaces look amazing. Amenities include a four-way power-adjustable driver's seat, automatic climate control, an upgraded stereo, cruise control, a digital clock, and power windows. The leather-wrapped steering wheel shows some wear and frames a 150-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline. The six-digit mechanical odometer indicates 64,800k miles, approximately 3000 of which were added by me. This car is for a real Supra lover that wants originality and perfection.
