VIDEO PRESENTATION BELOW

Everybody knows the Corvette. It's one of the most iconic production line vehicles in the history of the automobile. From mild to wild. there is a Corvette for every type of car enthusiast.

Texas Classic Cars is very proud to present this very nice low mileage 1973 Corvette.

This example of a 1973 Corvette. being the 6th year of the “C3” generation. does not fail to impress. The car is numbers matching from the color to the engine and transmission.
We would like to thank the folks at the Frontiers Of Flight Museum located at Dallas Love Field for allowing us to shoot most of our shots at their location. Please stop in and visit the museum when you are in Dallas.

Also. being a convertible. it makes for the perfect ride on those beautiful fall and spring drives around town. The exterior is still covered in the excellent Elkhart Green color. Also. nbsp;another eye catcher is the convertible top.

This Corvette was only one of about 5. 00 convertibles produced in 1973 and one of only 975 painted in this color. As stated before. this was the year for many new additions to the corvette production line to improve drivability.

Sound deadening materials were sprayed inside all the body panels to help reduce noise inside and outside of the car. This was also the first time that any production Corvette came factory equipped with radial tires. Meaning a quieter ride down the road than compared to previous years.

The new tires were still wrapped around the iconic Corvette Rally wheels as always seen before in the C3 generation. The front bumper was also no longer made of metal. Instead. a molded Urethane bumper was added for lighter weight and painted to match the car.
The fit and finish of this car are extrememly nice.

The interior is everything you would expect to see inside a Corvette. pure comfort. The black bucket seats are covered in leather and padded with plenty of cushion for added comfort.

All gauges and radio are still in working condition.

Seat show signs of minor wear. but still keeping that great and classic Corvette look.

The interior is in very good condition for the age of this Corvette. To our knowledge the car has not been restored.

Miles are believed to be all original. normal maintenance  has been done to the car by it's current owner.

The engine in this Vette is the base 350cu. in. V8 engine producing around 190HP. The engine is connected to an automatic transmission allowing for easy drivability no matter what the conditions.

This was the first year that a fiberglass pad was installed under the hood to reduce engine noise and kept the inside of the car quieter down the road.
The owner installed a new starter and battery in 2011.

The current owner is said to be the second owner when he purchased the car in 2009 from Corvettes of Dallas. He has performed routine maintenance as needed and has kept the car under a cover to preserve the paint.

The owner takes the car out for a drive around once a week to keep everything fresh and prevent any issues that occur from sitting for too long a period.

The undercarriage is solid and in great condition.
