1962 Chevrolet Impala Convertible 409. AACA Sr. Nat'l 1 st Place. SEE VIDEO.
This original. rust-free. 409 Impala Convertible received a full frame-off nut-and-bolt restoration that was finished approximately 10 years ago. The attention to detail resulted in this car receiving a National First Place Award in judging by the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA). In later competition it also received its National Senior First Place Award. In judging by the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America (VCCA) it scored 997 out of 1000 points (One of the most rigorous judging criterias of any car club. ) Please note: while not a numbers matching car. all components are correct.
Since restoration this car has been driven just over 5000 miles. Yes. it runs as good as it looks with its rebuilt Turbo Fire 409 with 4-speed manual transmission.
PLEASE SEE VIDEO . All gauges and accessories work correctly. I have personally driven this car and it runs and operates without fault. It is a real kick to drive.
Cosmetically. it is absolutely gorgeous with the correct Twilight Turquoise (Code 917) paint with black power top and black interior. Look at the photos and the level of restoration. which is superb. Also includes a custom car cover. black top boot and a set of deluxe hubcaps.
If you are looking for one of the best. this is it. Ready to show or go.
A realistic reserve has been placed on this car. in keeping with its quality and rarity. Please bid accordingly.
WE WILL HAPPILY SELL TO BIDDERS. WORLDWIDE.
Thanks for looking and
