Up for grabs is my 1949 Dodge pick-up hotrod. astefully restored using original and modern parts yet retaining its original appearance. She has been fitted with a rebuilt Chevrolet 5. 0 litre engine with elderbrook carb and automatic box from a 1986 Chevy mote carlo ss. o plenty of power yet economical. New disc brakes to front. ewish alloys and tyres. ew starter/alternator. This truck is awesome it has had a roof chop been done very well. lectric tinted windows cd player pas. ilt steering column. n the last few months I have fitted sound proofing to the cab floor and new carpet. ewly covered bench seat new american white oak bed new 2. 5" stainless twin exhaust these are straight thru but I have fitted baffles which are removable(sounds amazing) wooden wheel. d playerthe truck has 0 rust and is in amazing condition considering it should be drawing its pension!!as all older classics/hotrods they always need something but thats the beauty of owning one. there are chips etc in the paint but still looks fantastic the cab is a bit tight for room as the tank is still behind the seat I intended moving this but have decided to sell. if your over 6 foot I think it would be a bit too tight without moving the tank. The truck starts stops and steers as it should but remember if you have never driven a rod before they take some getting use to. There are a few jobs to finish in the interior nothing major just thought I would mention it. oh and there is no tailgate. another job I didn't get around to!!there is a slight leak from the auto box sump gasket fairly simple job. Truck is ready for the new season and defo gets you noticed everyone wants to chat I had people taking photos on the motorway. Cash or bank transfer only. open to sensible offers. It has the black front bumper not the red. FORGOT THERE IS A LANDROVER HEATER THE BUYER CAN HAVE JUST BEEN POWDER COATED NO HEATER FITTED AT THIS TIME.
