TURBO DIESEL UNICORN! 1985 TOYOTA 4X4 STRAIGHT AXLE HEAVY DUTY FLAT BED W/MERCEDES 5 CYLINDER TURBO DIESEL! The turbo diesel was in this truck when i purchased it. Ive spent roughly a year on it to get it where it is today in these pics. The big things i did to this truck include....new paintjob, tires, shocks, exhaust, brakes and just had a $568 full tune up done by our local diesel mechanic before I decided to list it to sell. (plus numerous other things not listed.) I cant think of anything it needs to make it a better truck. With that said it is a 1985. Its not perfect but I spent alot of time and money to get it to the point it is at now and as the Old group Alabama sang, "shes close enough to perfect for me"....mechanically its ready. Just a few cosmetic things that all of these old trucks have...dash is cracked is the main thing (as they all did). The heavy duty flat bed was on this truck as well when i got it. This is not a cheap bed. Very well made with heavy duty diamond plate metal. Just a super cool truck that is so super rare! I WILL NOT END THIS AUCTION EARLY. It will run for 7 days and if the top bidder meets reserve they will win. PLEASE DONT BID IF YOU DONT INTEND TO PAY OR BUY. Vehicle sold as is.
