History:

Built initially by 60's Mopar Drag Racer Tom Mattingly- Kentucky HOF Class 3 NHRA winner.

Owned from about 2000 by last builder in Fredericksburg VA.

Reworked by Scott Racecars 2009/2017 with Jerry Bickel parts.

2017 Ray Barton Hemi Added

Last owners dream car that passed away 2020.

**1962 saw an increase of NHRA Drag Race popularity with the introduction of the 1962 Dodge and Plymouth B Bodies.

Many great 413 and 426 Max Wedge Cars, and the First 426 Hemi A864 A990 factory Drag Cars were built in this first era

This 1963 Polara's early Drag demeanor is a great return to those days that Mopar dominated drag racing and set the precedent.

1963 Dodges owned the Strip, notably the Ramcharger's Candymatic, and also later highlighted by Dan Dvorak's Stock and Stock Eliminator 63 Sedan.
