There were 50,896 Trans AM's built in 1980 This one is 1 of 8,692 built in this configuration and was sold New at Bill Santa Pontiac in Plattsburgh, NY. This Pontiac had the most important boxes checked on the order form. T-Tops, Deluxe interior, Tilt Steering Column, Limited Slip (Posi) rear axle, hood bird and great colors. Starlight Black with a Red interior and Red Graphics is a stunning combination. This is an all original panel and paint Trans AM. There are no disappointments here. The 4.9L - V8 is coupled to an automatic transmission and Limited Slip rear axle. The smaller V8 Trans AM's are great driving cars and still provide the Pontiac Excitement we have all come to know.
