Engine:

• Factory high performance 383 big block, original carterAFB 4bl, 315hp.

• Rebuilt 20+ or so years ago. Runs great, and doesn't smokenoticeably. No excessive oil burning. Not quite 1 quart per oil change underdaily driven conditions. Engine has plenty of life left in her. Dual exhaustwith flowmasters and factory manifolds. Not too loud, and not too quiet. Goodmild sound.

• New coil, points, cap, rotor, wires, and sparkplugs. Distributor is not worn, and I believe that is likely the original andverified in good shape. Still runs points.

• 1966/67 factory HP dual snorkel air cleaner installed.

• Gel-cell Mopar OE style battery installed (1964/early 65)

• Oil pan seeps a little, but not bad at all.

Transmission:

• 727 Torqueflite 3 speed automatic

• Shifts great. Feels like it has a mild shift kit.

• Resealed the front and rear seals, along with new filter, pan gasket, and external O'rings at the cables. New neutral safety switch.

Interior:

• Great condition for its age. Not perfect, but verygood. Seats are either original, or were replaced with authenticallycorrect upholstery decades ago. Carpet has been replaced not long ago, as well.Factorystyle carpet.

Body:

• Straight and solid throughout, although it does havelocalized small areas of rust. One area by the battery has been repaired andlooks good. I suspect it was due to battery acid, and not road salt. I see noother indications of past rust-through on this car other than a couple thinareas in the trunk, which could be left as is, or small patches welded in if youwanted. I believe the heavy undercoating that was done either when new or“many” years or decades ago, saved this car from being rust bucket. Wherever theundercoating has chipped off, you can see the floor and trunk are pretty solid.Surface rust underneath, yes, but pretty solid car for being from the eastcoast. Magnet sticks wherever I've put it externally.

• Repainted about 20 years ago in the original color. Sometouchup as well since then. Overall, very nice, and gets a lot of looksand compliments.

• The paint overall is about a 7 or 8 out of 10 in myopinion. Too nice to redo for a nice driver quality car. However, it is not a concours qualityrestoration. It's a damn nice driver. Rear bumper was painted silver by previousowners, but you can always re-chrome it if desired.

Suspension:

• Front bushings are aged, but the car drives wellconsidering that. Acceptable/normal play in the ball joints and tie rods. Newsway bar bushings installed.

Cooling system:

• Original radiator was rebuilt with a more efficient 3 rowcore brazed in. More cooling capacity than the stock 3 row core.

• 1 ½ year old water pump, thermostat, hoses and new original styleradiator cap.

• Runs cool at about 165 to 180 in winter, and about 190in summer, unless you are in stop and go traffic in over 105 degree weatherwith the AC constantly running. Then it gets just over 200. An electric fanwould solve that if you wanted to. Under 105ish in stop and go with ACconstantly on, has not been a problem though. Without the AC running, over 105to 120 degree weather, it runs between 190 (while moving) and just under 200 ata long stoplight.

Other:

• Power windows work on the front doors, but the rearwindow motor brushes and regulator mechanisms need to be freed up and lubricatedfrom lack of use in many decades. New motors should not be necessary. Just needfreeing up.

• Original AM radio works great.

• Factory AC works great, but heat does not, as the heatercore was removed.

• Gauges work and dash harness has been de-modified toremove previous owners cheap crimp connections and wire nuts. Replaced withfactory type quality repairs and connectors. Amp gauge and blower motor circuitshave been upsized by two gauge sizes to carry more current without burning uplike these cars are normally known for. Used factory style terminals and shellsto keep it close to factory.

• Also improved the instrument cluster voltage regulatorcircuit by going to an external type, instead of using the troublesome builtinregulator within the temp gauge. I have pictures within a powerpoint presentation detailing how that was done.

OVERALL THIS CAR IS A #3 CONDITION CAR ACCORDING TO HAGERTY.IWANT THIS CAR TO GO TO SOMEONE THAT APPRECIATES ORIGINALITY. OLD CARS WILLNEEDREGULAR MAINTENANCE AND ATTENTION. THIS COMES WITH OWNING ANY CLASSIC.
