1969 MORRIS MINOR Blue 1000 PETROL CLASSIC CAR

FIRST OF ALL LET ME EXPLAIN WHY I AM SELLING THE CAR I PURCHASED IT IN SEPTEMBER 2012 AS MY SON WANTED A GOOD CLASSIC CAR I NEW THE HISTORY OF THIS CAR AND I NEW IT WAS SOLID ALL OVER AND WELL LOOKED AFTER. I THEN TOOK IT TO A MINOR SPECIALIST (LMG BEXLEY HEATH KENT) AND HAD TO SAY THE LEAST A LOT OF WORK DONE ALL CORRECT BY PROFESIONALS WHO NEW THEIR STUFF THE INTENTION WAS TO HAND MY SON A VERY USEABLE AND RELIABLE CLASSIC CAR WHICH NEEDED NOTHING DONE TO IT LMG HAVE HAD THE CAR FOR OVER 12 MONTHES AND I HAVE RECIEPTS FOR OVER £8000 PLUS THE COST OF THE CAR WHICH WAS £3250 TO START WITH !!!! THEN AFTER ALL WORKS COMPLETED MY SON TELLS ME HE IS MOVEING TO THE STATES AND DOES NO WANT THE CAR . SOME OF THE MAJOR WORK COMPLETED BUT CERTAINLY NOT ALL OF IT AS FOLLOWS : FULL SERVO ASSISTED BRAKES UNLEADED HEAD CONVERSION BY SPECIALISTS NEW CLUTCH A&P (THE BEST) NEW TIMEING CHAIN ALL 5 INCLUDEING THE SPARE WHEEL RE FURBISHED TO AS NEW CONDITION (NOT SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS) HAD DONE AFTER THEY WERE TAKEN 5 NEW CORRECT TYRES ALL SUSPENSION BUSHES REPLACED ANY WELDING WHAT NEEDED DOEING COMPLETED ALTHOUGH THEIR WAS VERY LITTLE NEEDED IN THE FIRST PLACE NO PATCHES BUT ALL CORRECTLY SORTED CAR PAINT SUPERB BUT TO MAKE IT EVEN BETTER FULLY MOPPED NOW GLEAMING FULLY SERVICED AND CHECKED OVER INCH BY INCH ETC ETC ETC ETC TOO MUSH TO LIST THE RECIEPTS ALONE COME TO MORE THAN 5 PAGES LONG THE CAR HAS GOOD HISTORY EVEN HAS THE ORIGINAL BILL OF SALE ALTHOUGH NOT CONCOURSE ITS VERY VERY GOOD AND NOW VERY DRIVABLE BUT STILL RETAINING THAT ORIGINAL FEEL AS YOU CAN SEE WITH MY OTHER LISTINGS I AM A MINOR FAN AND HAVE 4 OF MY OWN RANGEING FROM GRAND MASTER CONCOURSE (NOT FOR SALE) TO RUN AROUNDS THATS WHY THE WIFE WONT LET ME KEEP THIS ONE I KNOW I WILL NOT GET BACK WHAT I HAVE PAID OUT SO SOMEONE WILL BE GETTING A COMPLETE BARGAIN AND A FANTASTIC EVERY DAY CAR AND WHICH COULD BE SHOWN AT CLASSIC CAR SHOWS IF WANTED. NO TYRE KICKERS ONLY REAL PEOPLE PLEASE I WOULD RATHER THIS CAR BE LOOKED AFTER BY SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THEIR MORRIS MINORS THAY WILL KNOW ITS A GOOD ONE This is not the average rusty tired old Moggy Minor! In fact it's probably one of the nicest Minors in existence it is quite simply in stunning condition; the pictures really can't do it justice. Following a long and thorough restoration the car is now totally rust free and all cavities treated with anti-corrosion treatment to ensure that it stays that way. the paintwork is quite superb as is the chrome and fittings. Mechanically the car is top notch and drives really well with no noisy gearbox or rattily engine . the mileage is 58000 and while I can't prove that to be genuine I truly believe it is the car has very obviously been loved and cherished all its life . The interior is in equally lovely condition with all new carpets. there are 3 period style extra instruments fitted which look very nice and are very useful but if you wish to keep the car totally original they can easily be removed. The original fit inertia reel seat belts are fitted and everything works as it should The original jack and starting handle are present The Morris went through its very recent MOT without any advisories and though on SORN at the moment is in free road tax historic vehicle category so ready to go to a new loving home! There is quite a lot of history with the car including its original bill of sale and many old MOT certificates etc. . this vehicle really needs to be seen to be appreciated. In summary. if you are looking for a really lovely Morris Minor to keep for many years to come then this has to be it.
