You are looking at a beautiful original 1952 Dodge half ton truck. t's the Job Rated or Pilot house model. Original 2 owner California truck. original black plate truck. Rare 5 window optionOnly 86000 miles. running its original 218 cubic inch 6 cylinder engine with 3 on the tree transmission. It has its original key. has had a recent recommissioning with rebuilt carb. all fluids changed. fuel tank cleaned out and sealed. new battery. new distributor. and new brakes and brake lines. Still on original 6 volt electrics it starts runs and drives superbly. even for a 60 year old truck. There is no smoke or oil burning. it runs beautifully and is very very quite. The brakes work as they should and the steering is nice and tight which is incredible for a truck of this vintage!All round this is a lovely rare very straight solid truck. It has zero rot. only surface rust. the floors. cab corners and usual rust spots are 100 % solid. plus the chassis is every bit as good as the sheet metal. The cab glass and all body panels are still the originals. all thanks to a kind desert climate and low ownership. having been cherished. There are cracks in the side door glass both sides. but it's simple laminated flat glass so easily available and cheap from most autoglass companies. The windscreen is damage free. All cab controls and gauges operate as they should. The truck has now been fitted with 4 new good quality radial tyres.
