1928 Buick Standard Six

For your consideration...Very nice, original 1928 Buick 2 door sedan. This car has been a 1 family owner car since new until the last couple years when it was sold to a friend of the family. This was the very first Buick sold in Pierce county Nebraska and remained with the dealership and family for many years. It has always been garaged since new and remains that way today. It has only 11,295 miles since new and thus the incredible shape overall. It shows signs of one repaint and a reseal of the top many years ago but never having any signs of rust anywhere on the car. The original interior is in good shape with mohair on the seats and still has the original pull down sun shades and headliner. It came with a few of the more rare options including a heater which is still in place, a shock / spring front bumper, electric start, and yes a primitive cruise control. The wood wheels are excellent and last year, new Coker classic tires and tubes were installed. ($1200). The car recently spent a month with a very old school mechanic who got her on her feet for drivability. The fuel system was gone through front to back, as was much of the wiring checked over and replaced as needed. New leather water pump belt and new battery. The brakes will need some more attention for daily driver as do a few of the door handles and window cranks which come with the car. Though the radiator was patched, it does still have a leak in the bottom. Other than that, she could be driven regularly. If you desire a straight forward classic and collectible car with no surprises, this may be the one for you.
