The perfect boy toy!This is strange but true. We have purchased this right hand drive Alan Mann racing coloured 1968 mk2 Lotus Cortina from a museum here in Sweden! It is still on UK plates but we have no V5C We have contacted the Ford Lotus Owners club who have confirmed that the VIN and registration number do confirm it is a genuine lotus cortina. All the work to make it into a track car has been carried out in the UK. So someone, somewhere has to know this car's background. It was last raced in Lydden Hill event in 2010. It has the 1558cc twin cam engine to which I have the codes should you require them. VIN - BA91GM531&&REG - JVU563FFirst reg 20/02/68Never reported stolen or written off, its clean according to dvla records.The clocks in the dashboard are correct for the lotus version.Wilwood 4 pot front brakes with grooved and drilled front disc's.Drum rears. Dash mounted brake bias control.Adjustable suspension plus the ability to quickly adust the camber.Engine is strong, sounds fantastic and no smoke on start up or when running.Gearbox is slick and precise. She is ready to go and have some fun with.This car has had some rust places cut out and repaired underneath. But seems solid enough for a 53 year old car!We could help with shipping directly to the UK (Immingham). Sweden is relatively safe to visit right now....we can even fix a place for you to stay (for free).Or should you choose to fly over for a private viewing we will look after you.
