Pre SVA & Correctly registered on V5 as L R Roadster's Ram S C. the Donor vehicle was a 1978 Daimler Sovereign with the private plate APR600A was Transferred under point Aquirement Rule V627.
Body & Chassis was purchased in 1991. Comprehensive History & invoice File on the Build Comprising of all New and Reconditioned parts. Built by the Previous owner. A Qualified and Time Served Motor Engineer (over 40 years in the business).
The car was completed over a 4 year period as an enjoyable unhurried project. it was ready for the road and inspected by the DVLA in 1995 and 1st MOT'd in April 1995.
The car was driven for one year in Grey Gel Coat and Painted in Candy Red in 1996 by Emily Vehicle Restorations.
THE BUILD PROGRAM WAS FOR AN ULTIMATE FAST ROAD ENGINE. VERY FLEXIBLE. BUT WOULD RUN AT 20 MPH ALL DAY WITHOUT FOULING UP.
CHOSEN ENGINE – 1971 351 FORD CLEVELAND 2. V DOAE 1 FO 2F500181. 240 BHP. PURCHASED AS A CUT OUT FROM OLDCOTE MOTORS CONGLETON. ENGINE STRIPPED DOWN. BLOCK AND HEADS HOT TANKED AND XRAYED FOR CRACKS. BLOCK WAS PLATED AND BORED PLUS 30 THOU.
HEADS WERE DITCHED IN FAVOUR OF 302 AUSTRALIA. QUENCH TYPE WITH 58CC COMBUSTION CHAMBERS. 2. 04 INLETS & 1. 65 EXHAUSTS. IMPULSE ENGINEERING ROACHDALE MACHINED THE ROCKER AND PEDISTALS FOR ROLLER ROCKER & GUIDE PLATE. NEW VALVE GUIDES. GAS FLOWED. PORTED & MATCHED TO INLET & EXHAUST MANIFOLDS. 3 ANGLE VALVE SEATS.
HEADS ASSEMBLED WITH COMP CAMS VALVE SPRINGS. HYDRAULIC LIFTERS. ROLLER ROCKERS HARDENED PUSH RODS & GUIDE PLATES.
CRANK – WAS PREPARED BY KENNY COLEMAN OF E. D. A. OIL HOLES CHAMFERED. JOURNALS MICRO POLISHED. CUSTOM GROUND & BALANCED FOR LIGHTER 302 FLYWHEEL
CONRODS – AGAIN PREPARED BY E. D. A. CHECKED FOR STRAIGHTNESS. SHOT PEENED & SIZED
BEARINGS – CLEVITE 77 MAIN. BIG ENDS & CAM BEARINGS WHICH WERE LINE BORED

CHASSIS – IS AN ADRIAN REYNARD DESIGNED TUBULAR CHASSIS WITH THE RAM FABRICATED LOWER FRONT WISHBONES. ITS CURRENTLY RUNNING ON 400 lbs SPRINGS WITH SPAX COIL OVERS ON THE REAR. THE CHASSIS WAS SET UP BY DAVE SCHOFIELD OF AUTOMECH. CADISHEAD – PREPARES TOURING AND RALLEY CARS.
