Toyota : 4Runner SR5

1986 Toyota 4runner SR5 4x4 5 speed power everything. removable sunroof. sunroof cover. altimeter. rear heat. roll bar with pad. removable top. tilt wheel. cruise control. A/C is NOT hooked up but  bracket and compressor will be included but not installed.   Very low miles on the mechanical pump 5L Toyota diesel 3. 0 liter engine imported from Australia. gets about 25-28 mpg with the 4:11gear ratio and 5 speed transmission.  The 5L is a 3. 0 L (2. 86 cc) 4-cylinder diesel engine. Bore is 99. 5 mm and stroke is 96 mm. with a compression ratio of 22. 2:1. Output is 97 hp (72 kW) at 4. 00 rpm with 192 N·m (142 lb·ft) of torque at 2. 00 rpm.   Expensive ($3200) turbo kit with a high flow Schwitzer turbo gives the engine about a 30% increase in power over the stock specs listed above!  Truck runs and drives well. it has 31x10. 50x15 A/T tires with more than half tread. new alternator. new fuel sending unit. two speed electric cooling fan. w56 transmission with gear driven transfer case. newer cv axles. Monroe monotube Reflex shocks. Warn locking hubs. 2 1/2" free flowing mandrel bent exhaust. optima marine deep cycle battery.   The body is straight. tailgate has been replaced and is missing the interior panel. Both of the front fenders had rust so I replaced with used oem fenders. no bondo in the truck.   Rear fender area and rear quarters on both sides of the truck have some rust.  The pictures at the bottom are of the rust and body dings. feel free to ask for additional photo's they can be taken and e-mailed directly!  Photo of the truck on the lift was taken when the fuel sending unit was replaced and the fuel tank skid plate was off. it is back on now.   Color match Toyota silver metallic spray paint on the front fenders and various small areas that were in need of attention.  Titled as a diesel in Virginia. smog exempt! Very simple diesel electronics or lack there of. only needs power to the fuel solenoid to keep it going.   all gauges work except the tach.  Dakota digital makes a signal converter that will make the gas tach work with the diesel signal and will be installed for the winning bidder!  Interior is in good condition. seats are clean. carpet has some coffee stains around the center console and in the rear cargo area.   For its age the truck looks good but understand that it has flaws here and there.  Truck is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
