Ford capri 1600 GT registered June 1969 G reg being offered for restoration, car does have vin plates and V5 in my name. I purchased this capri approximately 6 years ago with good intention of restoring it, the previous owner decided to take it of the road in the early 80s to customise it in a hot rod or street rod, obviously this never happened and it just sat in his garage incomplete for over 30 odd years until I purchased it in 2015, luckily it had been kept dry in a garage most of this time. I was very surprised how very solid she was and decided to restore her, she has been garaged since, but unfortunately I'm not going to able to follow this project through as circumstances have changed, i do have a lot of the original parts to go back on the car once restored i also have a1600 engine and box to go back in, i also purchased some repair panels to go back on,I also have a lot of the original interior including dash and 6 pod dash, this is a very solid basis in my opinion and is worth restoring and putting back on the road, after doing some research I think this may also had the XLR pack on it as it has some of the extras from the time. I also have original boot lid and front and rear bumpers. This will be the perfect restoration project for someone who knows what they are doing, very solid car underneath definitely worth restoring also will need to be trailered away. Viewing welcome at West Bromwich B71 serious buyers only please.
