1951 Chevrolet Styleline 2 Door-

Runs, drives, shifts and stops great! Very well maintained and unmolested car. 75,000 miles with all original features in good working order. 235 CU. IN. inline 6 engine with 3-speed manual column shift. 6 volt system, drum brakes, enclosed driveline, and original AM radio all operate flawlessly. This is a VERY nice cruiser that will turn heads everywhere you go!

DRIVELINE-

235 CU.IN inline 6 with 3-speed manual column shift transmission. No smoking, ticking, or any issues at all. Trans shifts smooth through all the gears and the clutch is in good shape.

Fresh tune up, valve adjustment, and oil change. It has a Frantz bypass oil filter. The battery was new this spring.

It has the original enclosed driveline with 4.11 gear. I put new drums, shoes, hardware, and wheel cylinders in the front this spring. Brand new tires and wheels all the way around. It is lowered I'm the front using 3" uprights and 2" blocks in the rear.

This car is very reliable and smooth. I have done 150+ mile trips more than a few times without issue. It is a great cruiser that will get you wherever you want to go!

BODY-

The body is very straight and everything operates exactly like it is supposed to. The doors, hood, and trunk operate flawlessly. From what I can tell the paint is original for the most part as well as the sheet metal including the floors and trunk pan. I had it professionally polished and ceramic coated to preserve the finish. This thing shines like crazy! It appears the rear quarters were painted at some time in the past with laquer (base/clear). There are some areas the laquer is showing some age and the tops of the fenders are thin, but overall the paint is in great shape. This is also why I had it ceramic coated. The stainless steel trim is all in very good shape as well as the chrome. The front and rear bumper guards were an added accessory and the chrome on them isn't perfect, however overall the car looks amazing for being 70 years old.

INTERIOR-

The interior is in extremely good shape. Everything is all there and very nice. The seats appear to have been reupholstered at some point and are in near perfect shape. The original AM radio works! There are no rattles or noises while driving. The trunk still has the original bumper jack and spare tire (including hub cap). The factory sound deadening on the trunk lid is in place and in good condition as well as the rubber mat in the trunk floor. All of the guages work with the exception of the fuel guage. It worked until the fuel tank was replaced and I am unsure of the cause. All the glass is in good shape and operate up and down perfectly as well as the vent windows. I will also include the original owners manual as well as an original shop manual for the car.

My location is Swartz Creek Michigan 48473.
