Hydraulics have all been renewed including wheel cylinders.  The engine starts easily and sounds great. Oil pressure is great. The weber carb will need some final tuning due to a flat spot at lower rpm's.  After shutting the car off, it is leaking some oil between the engine and transmission.  I suspect that it may be an issue with the new rear main seal.  The owner replaced a worn first gear in the transmission during the mechanical restoration.  The transmission shifts fine, it does have an issue in that sometimes the shifter seems to get stuck in neutral.  If you move the shifter to left and right with some extra effort, it's then fine.  There are less than 50 miles on the restoration, and the long time owner thought it needed to be broken in.  As noted, the transmission shift fine and does not make any noises etc.  Suspension was completely renewed and components were painted - it all looks new.  Has new exhaust that has a nice tone to it.  As with most complete restorations, it will need final sorting as detailed. The body  is in excellent original condition as shown in the pictures.  The the body work and paint was completed by the long time owner in 2005.  It was repainted in the correct MG color which is Ditzler 9000.  The paint is driver quality and presents nicely. Panel fit is good. Body work and paint held up nicely over the last 15 years.  Bumpers in nice condition.  Grill and lenses are new.  Underside is in excellent condition and was painted/undercoated.The MG is fitted with a set of factory correct "Rostyle" wheels which were refinished and fitted with new tires. The interior is in excellent original condition as detailed in the pictures.  Carpet and door panels are in excellent condition and show very little wear.  Seats are in great condition. Dash/gauges are in good condition.  Door panels are in excellent condition. Blinker/horn switch doesn't have a spring.  Convertible top frame was stripped and repainted.  It is fitted with a new convertible top that fits perfectly.  Restored heater box has not been installed.Does not have a wiper motor.Once again, please ask any questions you may have via ebay messaging. **License plate not included.I do not have a "buy it now" price, but would consider ending the auction early for a serious offer.Any questions?  send a message through ebay messaging.  Do not message through the ebay phone app since I cannot reply to those.*please have your funds in order prior to bidding...Shipping is up to the buyer to arrange.  ** For international buyers, Schumacher Cargo and Logistics can handle door to door shipping to the port of your choice.  I have sold many cars overseas and the buyers have been pleased with how smooth the entire process was. As stated, the "Midget" represents a wonderful opportunity for the British car enthusiast that is looking for a great opportunity on a rare British classic. The MG comes with a clear Michigan title.  Sold in "As Is" condition with no warranties expressed or implied.  I have done my best to describe the MG to the best of my ability, however there may be some things that I may have missed.  It is up to the buyer to do due diligence when making a purchase online.  Do not make any assumptions about anything.  Ask any questions that may have not been addressed.  I am not responsible for any errors or erroneous information.  If you would like to speak with me directly, please provide your contact number and I will get back to you.The fine print:  If you have 5 or less positive feedback transactions, you must contact me prior to bidding.  A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is due within 24 hours of the auction end.  If the deposit is not received, the MG will be offered to the next highest bidder.  The balance is due within 7 days of the auction end date.  The car must be picked up within 10 days of the auction end date.  A $10.00 per day storage fee will be charged after the 10 days unless prior arrangements have been made.  For International Buyers, I have sold many cars overseas with the buyers being extremely pleased with the sale.
