1987 Mercedes Benz 190e 2. 6 with approx. 96. 00 miles. Purchased in 2009 from a Colorado Dealer who took it in trade from original owner (3 owner car). Rare Factory Nautical Blue Metallic exterior with Dove Gray MB-Tex Leatherette interior. Used as a Daily Driver since 2009 and have put approx 23. 00 miles on the car. Oil changed every 3000 miles. and extensive preventative maintenance performed. Approx $5000 has been invested including: New Battery 2013. New Driveshaft Flex Disks. Seals. Differential and Transmission Servicing. Front end bushings. Oil and head gaskets. Newer Bilstein HD shocks. Front window regulators and motors. new window switches. new headlights. headlight surrounds. headlight bulbs. Ansa muffler/pipes/resonator exhaust system 2012. hood insulation pad. hoses. belts. new timing belt. voltage regulator and misc switches/relays. The car came equipped with an Alpine am/fm/cd stereo; Car is equipped with  All-Season Performance Bridgestone Potenza Radials with 12. 00 miles ( a set of Blizzak Snow Tires on MBZ Factory Rims with approx 11. 00 miles will be offered to buyer for additional $450). In lieu of playing the auction game. buyer's discount will be about $750-$1000 of extra parts included for free.
Everything works on this car with the exception of the clock and the cruise control. Special upgrades include Bilstein HD shocks. OEM Zebrano wood Accent Kit for Dash and Doors made by Mercedes supplier; Rear fixed headrests. The car appears to be primarily original paint. and presents beautifully The car is 27 years old and road nicks/small scratches have been touched up;  Drivers side doors have been previously repainted in certain areas; There are NO DENTS NO DINGS and the car is reported as NO ACCIDENTS by both Carfax and AutoCheck. The interior is near perfect. No stains. rips or tears. There are THREE tiny nicks on the REAR interior door panels as shown in the slideshow - two on the passenger side; one on the driver's side. All are small - about the diameter of a regular pencil. (All 190e's are prone to rust at the jack-points in the rocker panels if the drainage tubes are not kept clean. ) This car had a small area of rust repaired previous to my purchase on the driver's side rear jack point; it has not re-appeared to date and the 3 others appear fine. This is an exceptional looking and driving car that I rely on daily would not hesitate to drive any distance. It is fun. agile. comfortable and economical; You can read The NY Times in the paint reflection. I am relocating this year and unfortunately have to sell off my collection of Mercedes - all of which are excellently maintained. The maintenance done in the last 4 years alone adds up to nearly the asking price. This is a great deal for someone looking for a great Baby Benz.
