Here we have a Lagonda 2. 6 DHC for restoration it comes with a saloon and most of panels from another scrapped DHC to help with the restoration. The cars are located in south east Ireland very close to a ferry port and I can help with transport or loading but you will need a large van and car transporter. The cars were imported from England over twenty years ago with a view to restoration that obviously never happened. The DHC is northern Irish registered and the saloon is an English registered car. The saloon is in horrible condition but mostly complete and would yield countless parts for the DHC. There are as per usual no engines and gearboxes but I do have the differential and drive shaft from the DHC. I would imagine that the engines are under a bench or under the bonnets of a DB2 or 3 somewhere. The DHC is mostly complete but missing its door panels and door furniture but these could be taken from the saloon and patterns taken from one of the other survivors. I have the seats from the DHC which are not too bad but really would be better re upholstered. I have the clocks from the dash stored in a box too. The DHC had been butchered around to get a jaguar six in at some point but thankfully this was never finished. I had a coachbuilder from the south of England examine the car and despite obviously needing a new ash frame he felt that the aluminium was in good shape and could be repaired rather than replaced. I do have most of another DHC body too if there was a problem. The Lagonda 2. 6 DHC was produced in very small numbers about 118 in total I believe were made and there cannot be more than ten left on the roads today. This Lagonda would make a very rewarding though challenging project and when I made enquiries about sourcing an engine and gearbox I was pleasantly surprised to find that they are available through specialists. Remember this car and all its parts are for restoration so do not expect miracles. Any questions fell free to ask .
