1969 Dodge Charger

Here is a very cool real 69 R/T Charger.  This car was recently purchased along with a 70 Barracuda, which is also listed, from the original owner who was unable to drive the car in the early 90's so it has been in a garage since then. This car was bought and lived all its life in southern California.  It is originally alpine white with a black vinyl top and a black tail stripe with white seats/black trim.  If you havent ever seen one of these in this combination I assure you its one of the best looking 2nd gen Chargers made.  The dash is there and is not all beat up.  It is a black dash not woodgrain so its probably not an R/T S/E which is kind of rare.  The radio bezel there but no radio.  The headliner needs to be replaced, all the bows are there.  It has power windows and air conditioning.   All the power window switches are in place and the window glass is all there.  The grill is complete and in very good condition.  It looks like all the parts needed to open and close headlight doors are there.  The paint that is now on the car is actually not bad and would be great for a driver.  The only rust I found was in the forward right side of the trunk and behind the rear tire on the right side.  The rest of it is very solid.  I took pics around the back window where these get rust and it is very clean.  The floor pan is solid and there is a layer if undercoating that has protected the car underneath.  It has an 8 3/4 with a 489 carrier wihich is more than likely original.  The two front wheels are probably original.  Take a good look at these pics, the body work needed on this car is very minimal.  It doesnt look like it has ever has been in an accident.  Someone started working on the car and parts such as the front and rear seats, rear window and engine were removed and are not available.  They also took the liberty of cutting a hole in the hood for a hood scoop.  What you see in these pictures is what you get.  Please ask any questions.  Do not bid on this car unless you have the money now.  A $1000 deposit is required when the auction closes, the car must be paid in full by friday.  Cash, bank wire or cashiers check only.  I can hold the car for a reasonable amount of time.  The car is located in Riverside Ca just off the 91 freeway.  I will help get this loaded on a transport, buyer pays shipping, car is sold as is, no refunds.  The fender tag matches the radiator support, the vin number and the vin code on the trunk rail.  I broke down the fender tag below. Dodge ChargerXS29:Dodge ChargerSpecial, R/T2 Door Sports HardtopL9B: 440 375HP 1-4BBL 8 CYL1969Dodge Main, Hamtramck, MI, USA201233:Sequence numberE86: 440 cid 4 barrel V8 (High Performance) 375hpD32: Heavy Duty Automatic TransmissionW1: White (Dodge), Alpine White (Plymouth), Spinnaker White (Chrysler & Imperial) Exterior ColorC6W: Trim - Charger, Vinyl Bucket Seats, White/BlackW1: White (Dodge), Alpine White (Plymouth), Spinnaker White (Chrysler & Imperial) Int.
