1987 Rover 2600 Vanden Plas with a FULL V8 engine conversion. (3946cc)The car has been well looked after by the previous owner who was a good friend of mine. Since he was no longer able to look after the car about 2 years ago, I decided to look after it for him and try bring it back to its former glory. The car starts first time and sounds amazing! It comes with extensive history which documents everything that the car has done. Also, I have lots of spare parts to go with the car (Vitesse front and rear bumper with spoilers , headlights, indicator lenses, new starter motor, steering rack etc)The body work is in good condition for its age, however it does need some TLC. The inner arches and under body have been rust protected and sealed, which is the main issues these cars suffer with. Interior is in average condition and could use a bit of TLC, all upholstery in good condition with no rips or tears. The car was up to MOT standards April 2020, but since then I have put the car into storage.The car has new front brake hoses, new front tyres and handbrake cable. Full stainless steel exhaust system from front to back. I would love to keep the car but unfortunately I am no longer able to give it the time it needs.
