Hi and welcome to my auction for this awesome MK 5 Cortina. I purchased this car 6 months ago and started work on completing a bare metal respray. This car is totally solid and has had no welding to the chassis or any panels. Only having 3 owners this is a genuine solid car. it is fitted with a Ford 302 ci small block motor with C 6 auto gearbox. The engine has the following mods: fast road Cam. Warrior competition inlet manifold. Eldebrook 600 Cfm Carb. Mallory dual point ignition with heavy duty 10 mm HT leads. It is also fitted with line lock (untested) Bodywork is totally straight and solid. it's just fresh out of paint. the colour is now Ford Thistle Purple with Ford Diamond White stripes. heels have been blasted and painted. tyres are all excellent condition. full stainless steel custom made exhaust. As you can see in the pictures all door handles and bumpers are frenched to get that smooth look. it has Ford Capri dual headlights and Corsair rear lights. The inside is stripped out for drag racing having 2 matching old skool Cobra race seats. large taco with various Smiths style gauges. Alloy dashboard along with alloy door panels . it has a one off brand new old stock Mk 5 Cortina grill adapted to house twin Capri lights( not shown in pics ) This car wants for nothing and was built for the intention of drag racing but is fully road legal and will come with a full 12 month MOT upon completion of sale. It is booked in for complete rolling road set up on Tues 10 Dec at T&M Colchester.

I'm not giving this car away as it stands me in a small fortune but change of direction forces sale. I will add more up to date pics with wing mirrors on and front grill in place and take some inside pics.
