Ford Transit Mk 2 County 4 x 4 van LWB. I purchased the van in May 2018 . It was a very genuine van with all mot history etc. Started life in the Farnborough Royal Aerospace Est t . Very low miles for a 1985 van too 48500 approx. I have had the bodywork all painted in blue. The doors were quite rusted at the bottoms. All this has been cut out and welded and done properly . Same with the rear doors. The radiator has been re conditioned with a new core. New water pump, Oil and filter . Anti freeze , New battery fitted .New Timing belt fitted , Gates . Mot tested on 14/ 10/ 21 . 48,609 miles , see mot cert .Jobs still left to do . Find a new drag link end. I have 2 but threads are not correct for this van . But said for a 1985 transit . Needs new front and rear door rubber seals . Needs new headlining . Chassis could do with painting black . But is very good and not rotten or covered over with black under seal !So any new buyer will see its original condition . The wheels were blasted and painted in silver with new Good Year tyres fitted last year . A used Ford FM radio was fitted and does work with manual and code . Both keys are present . Along with manuals, All old mot . Press photos . Original County brochure . I have had over £7000 spent on repair bills . Very hard to find now especially the 4 x 4 models . Hope the van can find a new owner who will use and enjoy it . I was going to fit a tow bar and use it for classic car track days occasionally . But never happened ! So time to move on now . £19500 .
