Up for sale is this beautiful 1955 Pontiac Star Chief convertible ‘Resto Mod' which won the “staff pick” at the 2019 Good Guys York, PA.  Power comes from a 2006 Pontiac GTO 6.0L V-8 LS2 and it's backed by the matching 4L65e 4-speed automatic transmission.

The frame-off restoration started with a rust free 77,000 mile running ‘donor' car out of Canada.  All the body panels except for the floor sections in the back seat area are original.  There are no patch panels or bondo in the car.  The build was completed in 2016 and has only been driven 5000 miles to shows in the MD, PA, DE areas.

Every nut, bolt, screw, and piece of weather stripping was replaced or replated.  Nothing was left untouched. The owner's intention was to build a reliable ‘show' cruiser which could be driven anywhere.

Everything functions normally including the Halogen headlights, Southern Air A/C, heat, & defrost, to the lighted Eagle hood ornament.

Additionally, and included with the sale, is a complete factory continental kit and a set of fender skirts.  Neither has been repainted.

Dupont Chroma Base 2-stage urethane in 2016 Corvette Torch red & bright white

Under side of the body was sprayed with bedliner material to prevent chips and rust as well as ease of cleaning.
