Pontiac Firebird Trans-AM is an iconic muscle car. This example has been very well preserved. The white paint and with blue accents are in excellent shape, as well as the sheet metal underneath. The panel gaps are all correct; this vehicle has never been in an accident. The underbody is clean and free of rust. Standard TA wheels wrapped in Goodrich Radial T/A tires, are free of curb rash and look great. Under the hood lies a 455 cid High Output V8 with Ram-Air IV setup. It has the original Quadrajet 7041268 and the original 197 heads to match. The vacuum-operated shaker hood valve is fully functional. This engine has been very well maintained and runs well. The original Power is routed through a Muncie Rock-Crusher 4 Speed HD close ratio transmission with a 10-Bolt rear end to the rear wheels. Power steering and power brakes make this Trans-Am a breeze to drive even in traffic. This Pontiac was also optioned with A/C. The original interior is in good condition and retains many cool original options. The Sandalwood vinyl bucket seats and rear bench seat are in great condition. The headliner is tight and without tears. All the original equipment is functional. This is not a number matching car. This Trans-Am is a rare classic muscle car that would be an excellent addition to any collection.
