Vehicle Details

This 1979 Chevrolet K 5 Blazer cheyenne was delivered new to Friendly Chevrolet of Dallas Texas, and remained in the state all of its life until last year when the restoration begun.

The original 350 engine was flushed/cleaned over 3 times since running again with some new seals, gaskets, edelbrock carburetor and msd ignition. The brakes/lines were also replaced along with fuel pump, filter, fuel lines, and gas tank. The 3 speed transmission automatic was also flushed/cleaned 3 times with new fluids/filter and pan gasket. NP 203 replaced with a NP 205 rock crusher. New from and rear driveshafts 1310 spicers. Front hubs converted to part time 4 x 4

Seats were recovered in Camel material, carpet replaced, interior trim was re-dyed, 5 x 5 speakers in front with 6 x 9 speakers in rear with a retrosound radio. Carhartt camel dash cover(dash has cracks. The window&door seals and felts were replaced new.

The truck was repainted 2 months ago original Cordova brown with white top. The trim is new and the bumpers are original, the outter window seals were also replaced, spare tire rack rebuilt and painted, the 16 inch wagon wheels/tires are new 265/75 R 16 including the spare.
