1967 MK1 Morris Mini Super Delux with race spec Cooper S thin flange block engine. This car started out as a 1967 MK1 Morris 850 automatic but is now converted to a period manual (auto engine and box included). I have a large folder with a lot of history including original bill of sale and green original log book. Even original underseal paperwork. The car has covered a genuine 67k miles from new. It is MOT and Tax exempt. It has had new front floor pans, inner and outer sills, rear heelboard ends, rear wheel arch closing panels and stiffeners along with some repairs to the inner flitch panels at the bottoms. Full professional exterior paint in its original Almond Green and Old English White roof. All new rubbers were fitted along with new sliding window felts and seals. New aluminium mk1 door hinges were fitted aswell as new headlamp bowls. New retainers and stainless rings were used, new Morris Cooper grill, new indicator units with glass lenses. Badged as a Cooper due to the spec of the car and the genuine engine. It has spring bonnet retaining safety clips along with a tan leather strap as per race cars.Rebuilt hydro auto front subframe with fully adjustable KAD bottom arms and tie rods, along with new ball joints, track rod ends, etc. It still runs on Hydrolastic suspension. The displacers have been re hosed and tested. I've also individualised these which firms up the ride and allows each corner to be pumped up separately. It runs on Cooper S hubs and discs up front with Hardy Spicer drive shafts etc. Brake lines replaced and runs braided lines to the calipers.Rebuilt rear hydro subframe along with new rubber mountings, brakes, brake lines copper and braided etcIt's running on Minispares rose petal wheels and Yokohama a032 tyres which look fantastic. I do have the original steel wheels and wheel trims.Inside it is fitted with an in date Corbeau Revolution X (large) race seat on a custom fabricated tube frame welded to the floor for the side mounts to be safely bolted down. The original interior trim is retained and in very good condition along with a lovely carpet set in matching green. Period Motorola radio cassette still remains. KAD quick shift is fitted to the remote change Cooper S gear change housing as per race cars. A 14" Momo california leather steering wheel is fitted which suits the interior styling very nicely.Engine spec is very special, it used to be raced in the 70's and is as follows:* 1330cc +60 Cooper S thin flange block AEG312 with omega die cast pistons. New bearings throughout and ARP headbolt kit.* AEG177 rods balanced with ARP bolts* EN16T Crankshaft ground +10 undersize also balanced.* AEG529 camshaft (300 duration).* MED lightened followers.* MED steel pushrods.* MED LDX 1. 5 roller rockers offset to match head.* Longman GT15 head with MED 240lb springs, steel top caps and collets. Spring seats shimmed to give 1. 4" fitted height.* MED stage 3 ultralite flywheel assembly.* MED Cooper S damper crankshaft pulley.* Aldon AR100 distributor and Lucas coil.* Trigger cambelt drive kit.* 22g68 Cooper remote gearbox with factory S/ C 3 synchro gear kit fully rebuilt with new bearings, layshaft, synchros etc (modified for crank throw).* MED Hardy spicer output flanges.* Twin H4 carbs with double springs, float extensions and rubber mountings, with MED ram pipes.* Maniflow stage 2 race LCB and historic race system. All of this gives a proven dyno'd 120 BHP and can rev to 8000 rpm which is comparable to some FIA historic race minis. It has covered approx 500 miles since being rebuilt. This is a very well sorted mk1 Morris mini with Cooper styling which has a super rare genuine early thin flange block Cooper S engine, which is of race spec.
