Immaculate 1970 El Camino SS, 2nd Owner of the car which was originally purchased from Lew Williams Chevy in Sacramento CA in 10-26-1969. It is an original SS 396, Turbo 400, 12 Bolt, Autumn Gold El Camino that has been fully restored.  Picture of the appraisal performed in 1995 is included in the picture gallery.It is an original Black Plate car and always garaged in CA.  The original” Protecto Plate”, owners manual, history of ownership, as well as all receipts for work done comes with the car. The car had 151,000 miles when purchased from original owner in 2004.  It now has 76 miles, and has been garage stored since, during and after restoration.  The body is all original sheet metal, with no wrecks or body filler.  The vinyl top was replaced when re-painted (75 Corvette silver) in 1995 (It was originally Autumn Gold with black vinyl top).  All the bright work has been replaced, and original bumpers have been show chromed. A new wiring harness has been installed.Interior: Completely redone including new dash pad, new gauges, new upholstery, refurbished seat belts/buckles, new headliner, new steering wheel, new carpet, new door panels, new door handles and window handles.Engine: 502/502 Crate motor, with GM Performance pulleys, HD alternator, and late model A/C compressor.  It has “Desert Cooler” HD radiator w/ dual electric fans and Doug's ceramic coated headers.Transmission: 6SPD Richmond O.D with NASCAR “Long” shifter and linkage, heavy duty U-joints and drive shaft, GM performance clutch pressure plate assembly.Rear end: 9” Ford built by Currie Enterprises. It has “Tru Trac” locker 3rd member, nodular HD casing (painted orange like the original factory 3rd member), HD Torino Big Bearings, 31 spline axels, and 3.50 gears. The ratio was calculated to match the rear tire size and transmission gears ratios, 2200rpm at 70mph.Brakes: 4 wheel Baer disk brakes, slotted and drilled rotors, adjustable proportioning valve and new brake lines.Wheels: 15X8 Rallys front and rear (Trim rings and caps are included, but not installed so as not to scratch the wheels).Tires: Goodyear eagle 235/60/15 front, 275/60/15 rear.Fuel: New fuel lines, gas tank, Holley electric fuel pump with Fram race filter.Suspension: All new components, including front and rear springs, upper and lower front arms, ball joints, tie rods, sway bars (front and rear), Edelbrock rear boxed links and Koni "Red" rebuildable shocks.Exhaust: Custom 2 ½ inch exhaust with Doug's electric cut outs and 3 chamber Flow master mufflers.Buyer is responsible for shipping.  I have many more pictures that I can email to any interested party. Escrow.com service though Ebay will be used if local pickup isn't requested by the buyer. I will split the cost of the Escrow service with the buyer 50/50.
