MG ZT V8 4.6 One registered owner and 38,000 miles from new

MG ZT 4.6 V81 Registered owner38,000 miles from newCar was purchased brand new from SMC Rover in 2006, I have the original 'new vehicle order form' showing the price paid brand new was 16.7k.  I will assume all know how rare the V8 ZT is so won't bore you.  SMC was one of the largest Rover dealerships in the UK who purchased a lot of the stock post MG Rover's collapse, this being such a car hence registered approx. 16 months after the collapse.  I bought the car last year but have never used it hence the sale really, full receipt will be given.  As I understand, the original chap purchased the car new and passed away a few years ago, the family after a period of time sold the car to myself.  This is a very original car, it looks completely 'unmessed' with and has the original dealer fit number plates from SMC, original tax disc and so forth.  The car drives as new as you would expect with this mileage and I have the spare key.  There can't be many ZT V8's left with this mileage I guess.  The service history has been lost I guess when the owner passed but please do look at the MOT history which verifies the mileage, you will also see the car passed the recent MOT with no advisory's.  Prior to the 2021 MOT, the car had 4 new tyres fitted (the old were cracked due to age) and also was serviced (cannot evidence).  The downsides....The car needs taking to the next level.  Interior wise, the headlining is starting to sag at the back but not overtly noticeable, the drivers seat has no bolster ageing (highly unusual on these late ZT's) but the drivers seat has 2 pin prick holes, hardly noticeable but they are there if you look for them, otherwise all good, again as you would expect at 38k.The body work. Just above the back window there are two shallow dents, I was told a roof tile was responsible, equally the rear spoiler has a grove in it.  The roof is very minor, the spoiler is an easy repair / replacement.  The car could benefit from a machine polish and there are marks here and there.  I think most of these would polish out but not all, e.g. couple of marks on the nearside bumper, odd stone chip and so forth.  Like the bodywork, the alloys are fair but if you are a perfectionist, you would get them refurbed.  The sunroof motor works but the sunroof has been sealed which can easily be reversed, no signs of leaks though.  This has obviously been used as an everyday type car over a number of years.You could of course use the car 'as is' without any issue but really, its mileage and ownership count dictates it could be something really special.  It is a standard 'non SE' model.So, very genuine special and rare 4.6 V8 car that needs as above, an enthusiast to love and build on its strengths of mileage etc.  I am aware the pictures aren't great so will add when the rain stops.Happy to answer sensible questions, I will let the auction run.  Serious buyers happy to do a walk round video.  ZT V8's tend to now price from 8 - 15k, the reserve is under the lower figure by some margin.  Please bear in mind this car is not perfect as above but if not a one off is close to! Genuine buyers only please, I am time short!
