73 CADILLAC SEDAN DEVILLE 500cui DETACHABLE HARD TOP ROOF CHOPPED CUSTOM MONSTER

Up for auction tonight is my totally unique and radical 1973 8. 2 litre Cadillac Sedan De Ville which I have owned since 1995. it has a detachable hard top which is heavily chopped and screen (Perspex. has some slight scuffing) raked back. it has a separate rear deck piece to cover area around rear seats with the roof removed. the suspension has been lowered and front inner arches removed to accommodate. lakeside pipes. new BF Goodrich tyres. flush mount rear lights. moon tank (dummy). has the rare interior is by Fleetwood and Fisher body. interior is in very good condition (just 2 small 1" rips on tops of back seats) car has covered 58411 miles which I believe to be genuine. unfortunately I have mislaid mots to testament this but I'll have a look for them before auction finishes. Although car is a 73 model for some reason registered as a 76. Needs a new front number plate. somehow this has come off at some point in its rest and vanished!!. will refit if it shows up in the meantime.

PLEASE NOTE : Due to the heavy roof chop and screen rake. this car has no side windows therefore it is strictly DRY WEATHER/SUMMER USE ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Car has not been used for sometime (at least 10 years. maybe more!!) and although always dry stored and covered the body has suffered with scuffs and scratches. some of the vinyl roof has discoloured at the back along the edge (see pictures) some of the inside of the roof is a bit tatty to. has no tax or mot. but starts and selects gears ok (I drove it out of garage to take pictures) as it has been stood down for so long I think it should be transported away. I can possibly do this at extra cost as I have a full length covered trailer. Like I say has not run for a long time so may have developed faults associated with it but cannot find anything so far. was running just fine the last time it was used. Be sure this is truly a one off custom. if you fancy a break from the norm. this is it!!!

I can't stress enough. if this car interests you then have a look at it before you bid. it might be a bit more than you bargained for and also I don't want to get into haggling about price because I missed something on the description. what ever it sells for is final and will be offered to next bidder highest bidder otherwise.
