This 1988 Mercedes-Benz 560SL was first registered in California and was purchased by the sellers family in May 2002 from Auto Stiegler Mercedes-Benz of Encino.  It has been maintained both Mercedes-Benz of Encino and Silver Motors in Van Nuys before being transported to Idaho in March of 2017. The car is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Arctic White over Black leather. Additional equipment includes a black soft top, a power antenna, burl wood trim, automatic climate control, fog lights, a Pioneer head unit with CD and Bluetooth stereo, rear speakers mounted in the rear bench, cruise control, and 15″ chrome-clad Gullideckel wheels. This R107 shows 179k miles and is offered with manufacturer's literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Idaho title.The car is finished in Arctic White (147) and features a body-color removable hardtop, a black soft top, American-market lighting and bumpers, and a power antenna.  A small dent can be seen on the front quarter panel about the size of a quarter.  Silver-finished 15″ Gullideckel wheels are mounted with Goodyear tires that measure 205/65.  The tires were installed in 2007 at 150K miles. The car is equipped with an independent suspension and four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes. The brake pads were replaced at 150K miles, the front rotors were replaced aswell. Recently the injectors, sparkplugs, wires and rotor have been replaced as part of routine maintenance.The cabin is upholstered in Black leather with matching carpets and burl wood trim on the dash and console. Equipment includes a Pioneer stereo, an alarm system (no key FOB), automatic climate control, cruise control, and power windows, mirrors, and locks.  The airbag-equipped steering wheel frames a suite of instrumentation that includes a 170-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and an analog clock, as well as gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, instant economy, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 175k miles, 4000 of which were added in the last 4 years in Idaho summers.The 5.5-liter M117 V8 features Bosch fuel injection and was factory rated at 227 horsepower and 287 lb-ft of torque. The air conditioning blower motor and compressor relay were replaced in 2020, and the fuel injectors were replaced in 2020.The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California and Idaho.There is no key FOB so the unlocking is done using the key.
