1972 GMC Sprint

You are looking at one of only 6473 GMC Sprint's made in 1971 and 1972. This one is a 1972 , last year for this iconic style. This great running Sprint has had only two previous owners and was purchased new in Oxnard Calif. I have the protector plate and original owners manual, the Sprint appears to be a matching number vehicle. This cool little truck is powered by a 350 V8 with a two barrel carb, this thing moves! quick take off and it's not bad on gas. There is a smallish oil leak that I think is coming from the drivers side valve cover, I'm including a new gasket. I would replace the gasket but I recently trashed my back and can't really bend over right now. This truck looks fantastic from 10 feet, it is not perfect and it's not a show car but could be. there is a small rust bubble on the bottom right front fender & on the top of the door frame. I've tried to picture these flaws. The truck will more than likely need a new panel put in the floor behind the passenger side seat. I have sheet metal covering the 8"x8" hole. This repair works unless you want to show the vehicle. You can buy a replacement panel for under a $150.00 from Original Parts Group.com, They sell quality parts at great prices.This El Camino look a like runs and drives very well, I'm comfortable driving it anywhere. Everything on this truck works and works well. Highway driving is a breeze! The stereo sounds really good and the interior looks good, one small maybe 1/2" tear in drivers seat & drivers door panel is a little beat up at the bottom, but not bad. Again this is not a show car but it's nice & dependable and ready to enjoy daily right now. The transmission was rebuilt with a shift kit so no over shift from gear to gear, very nice.I'm in Santa Barbara Calif & consider myself a good seller, you are more then welcome to view this car anytime.
