Thank you for looking at my Advert-  relisted because daven1212 bid and did not have the courtesy to either complete or pay for his purchase!!!!!!MGC GT 3.0 Litre AutomaticA truly lovely example, structurally sound and mechanically very good too with lots of money spent in the last year or so which includes:-Complete Recommissioning Service to include all fluids to engine, gearbox, rear differential everything and all as clean now as when they went in ! under 1000 miles sinceComplete Refurbishment of Original Brake Master Cylinder - you cannot source new ones.New Gearbox inspection plate gasket.Carburettors Serviced and Re BalancedNew Brake Rear Wheel CylinderNew Kenlowe Fan.New Electronic Ignition.Fuel Lines renewed in copper from front to back.New Battery Fitted with 5 year warranty on 24th September 21 All the above completed between February 2020 and September 2020 and car has covered less than 1000 miles since odometer showing just over 70,000 miles now.The car has a webasto full length sunroof which was fitted in the mid 1980s. Original15" steering wheel, Its new but unused also Heritage Certificate and Data Sheet with the history.The previous custodian owned the car from the late 1980s until I purchased the car in February of last year, the service history is very good and amongst other documents contains MOT certificates going back to 1982.There is enough paperwork in the history file that I believe would suggest the mileage could be correct. In the last owners care the sills and bodywork were all replaced and also the engine and gearbox rebuilt neither of which have covered more than 5000 miles since I was told.In my personal view I think it would benefit greatly from some paintwork not because of rust BUT because the paint job carried out was not that good in my opinion - certainly lower half, also the seat bases need reupholstering in leather as the previous owner had them done in pvc ! But the seat frames are the original ones importantly and lastly the engine bay would appreciate a tidy up.The car starts well from cold, no smoke or tappet noise and drives very well gearbox is strong and smooth and kick down also works well.I have a video of the car runnung and a walk around if you want to view this firstWith a small amount of work this car would be an excellent example with lovely history.Priced to sell I believe and a great basis to complete to a great example for a small additional investment, ALL reasonable offers will be considered but I believe it is competitively priced as it stands.Feel free to come and view,the car it is stored in a heated garage in Weybridge Surrey and I live in Somerset so viewings have to be arranged in advance I am afraid please call me 07789 485800 to discuss.There are no returns with this car it is sold as seen and inspected by you or indeed anyone you might wish to come and inspect.Currently on SORN Registered as Historic Vehicle so no MOT or RFL applicable.Available by separate negotiation are a set of painted wire wheels and chrome spinners.
