1958 MG MGA Coupe. This restoration is extensively documented on the MG Experience forum (www.mgexp.com), Google “1958 MGA Coupe Driver quality restoration”, and you can see all the time, effort, materials and attention to detail that went into this build. This vehicle has a clean Virginia title in the seller's name. The car is driven every weekend and was most recently shown at the Britain on the Green car show at Gunston Hall in Virginia. This car was purchased by the seller in May 2012. It came with a complete leather interior kit, carpet kit, new bumpers and overriders, complete rubber gasket kit, headliner kit and new grill. The original rear glass (all 3 pcs), front windshield and roll up windows are all in good condition. The engine has a newer MGB intake, carburetors and PCV system which reduces the crankcase pressure when running and reduces oil dripping. The vehicle is equipped with 3 point safety seat belts. The vehicle comes with a extra new front bumper. The hand crafted Lemans style driving lights and front tube bumper can easily be removed and replaced if the buyer chooses. The driving lights have their own wiring harness to the battery. The new original style wiring harness was not modified for this light installation. The vehicle has never been driven in the rain and has been stored inside since the restoration. The vehicle runs, drives and brakes as it should and is a joy to own. The engine and the transmission are original. The transmission is a non synchronized (in first) 4 speed transmission. Photos show the paint is incredibly shiny and may hide the slight imperfections in the paint that are present. Please ask any questions before you bid.
