1966 Toyota Land Cruiser

Incredible 1966 Toyota Land Cruiser RestoMod.   Built for functionality this rig has all of the hard stuff already done.  From a thoughtfully integrated FJ60 steering column to a custom roll cage and beyond this Land Cruiser is built for the town or for the trail with drivability and safety being the top priorities.  The same owner for the last 25 years this FJ40is ready to come out of the garage and be used like it should.  It is sad to see it go but I just have too many projects to be able to take it out and use it like it should.

Rebuilt Chevy350 out of 1978 Chevy Camaro - 300 HP

Rebuilt SM420Transmission with granny low 1st gear (7.01:1)

Power steering/Power brakes; stainless brake lines throughout

Front Axle from1976 FJ40 with factory disc brakes.  Custom rear disc brakes.

Custom exhaust with Flow Master muffler

FITech Electronic Fuel Injection with Fuel Console Fuel delivery system

True fold forward Jeep TJ buckets with custom welded mounts Brand new glow shift gauges

Custom FJ60 steering column with integrated active controls

5 row aluminum radiator w/electric fan

Vintage air system heating and AC; Condenser installed and AC ready

Custom welded diamond plate transmission tunnel (under carpet)

Shackle reversal system for stability with 2.5" spring lift in the front (shackle reversal adds 1.5" of lift), 4" in the rear w/Rancho RS5000 shocks

Custom heavy duty skid plate with removable panels

Custom three-point front seatbelts

33"Thornbird tires on steel rims (the tires are a little older but basically brandnew - still have the mold nubs)

Rear fold down troop carrier seats

Custom welded rear bumper, prepped for tire carrier if you want to add it.

I'm sure there is more that I'm forgetting...  Those with a keen eye will pick up some other upgrades from later model years.

Overall the paint is more recent but has a couple of minor issues - some chips and a couple of imperfections but as you can see from the pictures overall she looks great!
