Having spent many years tucked away in a barn this old Range Rover is available for saleNEGATIVESThere are a couple of places that require welding, namely rear of outer sills both sides, and the bracket that holds the back of the fuel tank (centre of rear cross member) Rear seats have been removed, they are available but the seat belts will need replacing.Also the sun roof has been removed and filled with a fixed polycarbonate sheet to weather proof car. It also needs headlining.It has not seen regular service for decades, and although it drives and stops, a service and check over are required. The paintwork (Arizona Tan) has corroded with the bottom section of the body panels around the car.Rear tailgate has rust but could be salvaged.ON THE BRIGHT SIDELow mileage for the yearRare colour!Good engine and gear box (rare manual !)Most of the chassis is in surprisingly good conditionLots of areas of this car have benefited from being stored indoors and are in unusually good condition. They make up for the areas that need work and make this a good project.1985 year has exposed hinges on bonnet and doors and external latch for tail gate. Nice interior and floor etc very good.v5 present in my nameHeritage certificateinvestment and will be a nice Range Rover to own and drive!!
