MGB GT 1978 Green Overdrive Chrome bumper Sunroof Leather seats Gold seal engine

Fantastic driver, great condition for age, with approx. 10k miles on 2014 gold seal engine. Thousands spent in the last year, including new leather seats and full chrome bumper conversion – including the correct ride height. Regularly driven and not concours as it has a few minor blemishes here and there, but it presents very nicely overall. Heritage certificate included – built 29-30 December 1977 with date of dispatch of 7 February 1978 to Hartwells Limited in Banbury. The chrome conversion means you get the best of both worlds – the useful features of the later cars (like dual-circuit brakes) and the looks and handling of the earlier cars. Recent MoT (although cars this age don't need them, plus it's tax exempt) and service. I'm only selling because I've bought another classic as a project.

Really fun to drive and pulls very nicely thanks to the engine, rebuilt carburettors, and new ignition components including electronic distributor. Bit of noise from the rear axle when changing gear and decelerating, but many MGs have this and it could be swapped for a second hand one. The new tyres, chrome bumper ride height, and Superflex bushes in the suspension make it fantastic through corners whilst still having a very smooth ride. Various other bits and pieces done recently to ensure the car is well sorted.
