Your chance to own a 1961 Ford Zephyr mk 2 estate, a rare car. The car will take you back in time to a bygone era of motoring where luxury, style and practicality mattered more than speed. This zephyr has been the pride and joy of its current keeper who has cared for it and taken it to many car shows where it has won numerous prizes and also been used as a wedding car for many happy events. The car is finished in blue and white and a blue interior with large comfy bench seats and chrome metal dash with its column change gearing all working as it should.
The car it self runs and drives well slipping in a out of gear no problem covering only 75000 miles, also having a new brake reservoir fit it stops well. It also benefits from electronic ignition so no points to worry about and starts nicely. The car is 50 years old so does have its quirks like any classic car but that is to be expected from an old ford.
The body work is painted two tone blue and white with its long body style and large boot perfect for picnics! also having a chrome roof rack ready for the surf board. There are some bubbling of paint work see photos but no rot to worry about and the underneath is sound but would advise getting it treated before it gets any worse. I can supply more photos so you can study the extent.
The car was also featured in Classic Car weekly in 2015 All in all its a sound car with plenty of life left and is ready for its next adventure.
