The car is in excellent shape. Original paint and matching parts numbers except for alternator. Routine maintenance of oil, filters and fluids performed on a regular basis. Placed new floor mats and rear deck mat with 928S4 logo. Replaced the interior roof/hatch light, the rear A/C vent, front hood and rear hatch shocks and coin holder. Painted the spare tire and the spare tire wheel well Guards Red. New covers for the wheel well and the adjacent deck. New wiper blades, new battery placed in a cleaned battery compartment and replaced the rear hatch receiver. New Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires were placed and the tires filled with nitrogen. Rear brake job: the front has 70% left. All mechanical work done on the car was done by legendary Porsche mechanic, Howard Wright, of European Classics in Doraville, Georgia. The car was shipped back and forth for each phase of work. He serviced the transmission with new filter and fluid. Placed a new A/C compressor, expansion valve and upgraded the system to R134 refrigerant. Replaced all the heater hoses, all coolant hoses, new water pump, tensioner roller, upper idler roller, tensioner arm bushings, ignition wires, distributor caps, spark plugs, fuel filter, air pump filter, timing belt and timing belt tensioner. Replaced alternator and alternator harness. The following replacements are referred to as a “Valley Refreshing” process: valve cover bolt seals, valve cover gaskets, spark plug seals, vent pipe O-ring, oil filter gasket, breather hoses, idle control valve hose, vacuum hoses, connector pipe, air duct dome, intake gaskets, vacuum valve, vacuum elbows, vacuum line, vacuum plug, air duct pipe, fuel hoses, fuel pressure regulator, fuel damper, knock sensors, crank sensor, throttle switch, idle control valve replaced all temperature sensors, refinished the manifold and valve covers. Powdered coated the manifold and valve covers in Porsche silver. All parts used in this entire updating process used OEM parts. No “After Market” parts were used except for the engine strut brace purchased from 928MotorSports to replace the weak factory brace. No 928 will be found in as good of mechanical and visual shape as this one. It is worth every penny of money asked! Print off and take this write up to your mechanic. He will state that you are considering a three year old car.
