Genuine Classic Mini Cooper - Fully restored keeping close to standard specification and maintaining many

original

features. 1275 Single Point Injection (Spi) I bought this Cooper as an ambitious project just before the pandemic and it has turned out to be a great lockdown project. This cooper has had a back to shell restoration.Full respray in Chill Red with white roof and Cooper decals Much of the interior trim is original so the car looks and feels as it would when it rolled out of the factory in 1992.Mechanically, the car has been totally refreshed to include: new brakes, clutch, exhaust, steering, suspension etc etc. It feels tight just like a new car.New rear subframe and fully cleaned and re painted front subframe.The engine and gearbox has new seals and gaskets where necessary and has been totally cleaned.A new alloy radiator with silicone hoses ensure the engine stays cool and looks very smart.New clutch and housing together with new master and slave cylinder.The fuel and injection system has been totally restored with new in-tank pump, fuel lines, filters etc and works properly.The exhaust system is new including CAT, Lambda sensor and heat shield. Other sensors were replaced where necessary.All 5 original Minilite wheels have been powder coated and fitted with new tyres with professional wheel alignment Electrically, the car has new harness by Autosparks together with new halogen headlights and driving lights etc etc. Starts on the key and drives great with no heating or cooling issues. Engine pulls really well. Original drivers manual, multiple sets of keys, extensive receipts and some history and earlier maintenance records.Recently passed MOT with no advisories.I also include a number of Mini specific tools including, cone compressor, rear brake piston tool, windscreen rubber tool and Rover MEMS diagnostic lead for diagnosis.I also include a collection of Mini spare parts.Note ( just to be honest as possible) The car was originally black but I preferred red - V 5 updated to reflect colour change. There is a slight rubbing sound from o/s front wheel when cornering and under load - can't see anything obvious, probably easy fix but have not got round to

investigating .

Overall excellent little car, have been to a few shows recently and runs great on B roads and motorways. Always gets heads turning and smiles :) Am selling as I have a new project Here are a number of Video's I made during the restoration:
