Lovely looking Daimler 4 litre Supercharged V8. This is the full comfort version of Jaguars rocket ship, the X308 XJR. 0-60 in just over 5 seconds but complete luxury inside as well. This is the long wheel base model, so plenty of rear passenger leg room. The back passenger can also move the front passenger seat from a control in the back of the car. Lovely clean leather all round. Engine runs beautifully, and it seamlessly changes gears through the Mercedes Benz gearbox. It needs to be seen to be appreciated. Lovely thick history folder. The read out on the speedo binnacle faded away a couple of years back, so I had to fit a binnacle from another Daimler. This one had done 40,000 miles more than mine, so it reads 152000 instead of the real 112000. I have tried to get the original one fixed but I've been told that the parts are no longer available. Annoyingly, all of the other information from the car works through this same display.It's now standing on my friends garage forecourt, but is still a private sale, as I ran out of space at home having bought another car.
