Welcome to the sale of my very rare model Volvo 245 automatic gearbox. Red velour interior. This car gathers many admirers on each journey. Especially from other Volvo owners, both new and older cars. The car has had a fair amount of money spent on it and benefits from a new radiator, cam belt kit and water pump. Alternator drive belt and a full engine  service. The brakes were overhauled using replacement calipers and pads on the front and new pads on the rear. Four new tyres were fitted.  The car has had a little welding underneath but was mainly in good order. Although tax and Mot exempt we have about 8 months mot to run. An advisory on the test notified of a weep on a front shock absorber. The car was painted about 2 years ago. The door shuts could do with a blow over really.    A few faults with the car. Fuel gauge is not reliable. Trip meter does not work. Starter occasionally does not engage but car always starts. Drivers seat cloth worn. Drivers door has dropped a little.  I love this old car but have too many classics, it has served me well and I feel the next owner can either improve it further or drive exactly as it is. This is an old car now and recommend transporting the car rather than driving it a long distance, however I have used the car extensively without breakdown, except for running out of fuel!   This is a private sale of my own personal possession and I do not offer any guarantees with it. Also the car is now 44 years old so please do not expect perfection. This is not a show queen but a useable and very presentable classic that is rarely seen today.  In time I will upload some other photos if eBay allow me.
