1965 MGB RoadsterOwned since 2008. Service history & MOT's dating back to 1991 and owner history back to 1984.Good genuine car that was subject to an older restoration. Finished in British Racing Green.Bodys very good with some age related marks. Paints good and looks nice after a polish. Still has the aluminium bonnet.Engine had a full rebuild in 2014, so runs fine on unleaded.4 speed gearbox, without overdrive is fine with new clutch being fitted when engine was done.Interior looks original and is good but the seats have age related wear / damage. They may respond to leather treatment & repair. Only original once but as all MG parts, replacement seat covers are available. Dash etc hasnt been hacked for a radio. Tacho not working (never has) so a replacement is needed. All other gauges are fine.Chromes good but not perfect. Polishes up nicely.Chrome wire knock off wheels are good, with set matching period tyres.Convertable roof is good with some minor wear. Get an odd drip or 2 when driving in the rain. Tonneau covers are also included.Due to storage, car was given an MOT. The V5 is in familys name but needs to be changed to Historic so MOT exempt.Work done since ownership includes:2021 - Freshen up & MOT2019 - new twin 6 volt batteries2016 - new rear brakes2015 - New radiator2014 - Complete engine rebuild inc water pump & clutch. Rebuilt carbs2011 - Electronic ignition2008 - New door hinges and propshaftBeen in dehumidifide classic car storage for 4 years and just undergone a freshen up.Runs and drives very well. Nice & tight handling through country lanes and no issues sitting in traffic or cruising on motorway.A great jump in and drive car with room for improvement if you choose.Please message for more info or pics.
