This is my father in law's car. I am selling it as he has been forced to give up driving due to health issues. He has owned the car since new (only his name on the log book) and has kept the original purchase requisition (bought through his employer), receipt and every service record, MOT and repair bill since 1969. It is unlikely you will find a Moggy anywhere with the provenance of this vehicle. The car has been used daily until about 12 months ago. It has completed a genuine 73092 very slow, careful miles. In 2019, the car underwent a £6000.00 restoration which was carried out by The Morris Minor Millennium Company. The work included fitting new rear panels, woodwork and welding (photos included). The car has been dry stored and has completed very few miles since the refurb. The car comes with the original BMC workshop manual, jack and roof rack. This car is by no means fully restored. The rear woodwork and panels have been replaced, as have the front wings/fenders. The passenger and driver's doors are fairly rusty and have been patched, but will need to be replaced or properly repaired. The car will also need a respray at some point as the panels don't quite match in colour. The car also has a slight oil leak, which is quite typical for a car of this age.The interior is neat for the age of the vehicle, but the seat covers are torn and will need replacing.  The car starts and runs really well. Although it is obviously MOT exempt, it was MOT'ed on 21.10.2020 at 73077 miles- 15 miles ago. If you want a fully restored car with decent brakes, electronic ignition, faultless bodywork, then this car is not for you. If on the other hand you want an honest, solid, decent Moggy with the very distinctive burble, then this is definitely the car for you. I would urge you to come and see the car before bidding, but if that's not possible, I will try and help you with any questions. It's not my car and my father-in-law's memory isn't what it used to be, so I may need to refer to the paperwork before answering anything technical - so expect a small delay in me getting back to you. The car is in father in law's garage, in the south Manchester area. I live nearby and can meet you at his property. Happy bidding.
