After much thought and tripping over the many ongoing projects i have ive decided to offer this lovely sp250 for someone else to finish and enjoy.I MAY P/X WITH SOMETHING INTERESTING BUT NO PROJECTS I HAVE TO MANY:)it is mostly complete but there are a few parts missing which are available with the many good sp parts suppliers,many parts have already been reconditioned ready to fit but many still need to be done.the chassis has been repaired where needed then epoxy primed then top coated and built up with its suspension back axle etc and other than needing the already restored brake calipers is about finished.the body has had major work done replacing any rotten steel reinforcing with new stainless parts then prepped epoxy primed ,2k primed then 2k top coated,i still needs to be mopped in my opinion.the engine im told by the former owner has been reconditioned with new pistons and to my eyes i believe this to be the case .the cylinder heads seem to have  good water ways but are only loosely fitted as they need the valves grinding in.the gearbox i was also told has been gone through with new parts fitted where needed but i can not warrant this but have no reason to doubt it.other than the rolling chassis the car is only loosely assembled this car was delivered new to the dealer in june 1960 as an "A"spec but there is a new set of a posts and cross beam to convert it to the stiffer "b" spec ,just sill beams and b post needed which are available for around £400 .sadly the v5 was lost years back but i do have the heritage certificate its registration number as well as the relevant form to apply for the v5c once its finishedim sure ive missed loads but please feel welcome to ask questions through this web site or on the phone 9-7 pmviewing anyday by appointment is also welcomed and encouraged.there are very few sp250,s left especially as rhd that have not been restored so grab the chance now before they get even more highly pricedFREE PROFESSIONAL ENCLOSED TRANSPORT  DELIVERY UP TO 250 MILES FROM SY23
