International Harvester Scout 80 Half-cab Pickup Second owner 16xxx miles Six and 1/2-foot Western hydro-turn plow Six-foot 3-point rear blade 3-point hitch Rear power takeoff (PTO) Rear chains 4-cylinder, 152 cubic inch engine 3-speed gear box with high and low ranges Lockout hubs on the front Current title in hand I bought this very capable machine for snow removal at my house and used it for 34 years. It has run flawlessly and has made plowing an easy task. It runs very strong and is very reliable. It has never been abused or used for any off-road event. Mechanically in very good shape, always starts and drives. Always carefully maintained; regular oil and filter changes and chassis lubrication. Everything works (lights, hydraulics, transfer case). Brakes are a little mushy and require pumping when cold. Rear PTO control cable needs to be replaced. New battery 2 years ago. New clutch 5 years ago. Rear end rebuilt 3 years ago. The gas tank and vacuum fuel pump failed many years ago; it now has an electric fuel pump and a 5-gallon gas tank in the rear bed; they work fine. I have a lot of parts – windshield, lights and lenses, brake parts, clutch disc, etc. I also have the original (non-working) radio and owner's manual and the IH factory service manual. The bad news is that it needs a new muffler and extensive body work, as is obvious in the pictures, though it runs and drives fine as is. The doors and door hinges are good.
