Stunning extremely authentic and beautiful Black Chesil Porsche 356 Speedster recreation. This car has a very special engine built by James Wotton at Vee Dub Performance and Service with 2332 cc and whilst (allegedly) capable of 200 bhp it was de-tuned to a more sensible 133 bhp to balance performance with safety and economy. The race spec gives it huge acceleration and power on this light car. If you are considering the French Alps or touring the UK you'll thank yourself for upgrading the engine from the regular 1600 or 1800 variants which tend to gather or accumulate speed rather than give it on demand as this one does. Personally I'm Captain Slow and steady at my age so the race spec engine is somewhat wasted on me but a nice to have and engine spec details on request. Suffice to say when married to this cars sidewinder sports exhaust and twin carbs it burbles fantastically at low revs and howls the most incredible and exhilarating sound when accelerating. It's road tax and MOT exempt due to age and correctly registered as a Chesil speedster (under make) and historic vehicle (under taxation class)Maintained by flat 4 specialist and has a discretely installed Alpine Hi Fi stereo system with CD USB Bluetooth Hands free married to 6 Focal speakers and a subwoofer hidden behind the 2+2 rear seat back. Full cream leather trim with seatbelts front and rear. Heated windscreen and cheap classic car insurance. 30 k fixed price which represents incredible value against the cost of having one of these built for you with a spec as high as this. Not perfect. It has some stone chips and blemishes which don't take anything away from the look and if anything gives it a more authentic appearance commensurate with a vintage iconic classic. Not for the shy as will bring you more attention than perhaps you are comfortable with and have often returned to it parked with a crowd around it taking selfie's. Expect more ‘smiles per hour' than any modern car and unlike modern cars these hold their value so you can enjoy it and get your money back should you reluctantly decide to part. This is my second (and best as was an upgrade from my first Chesil) and have enjoyed them for nearly 20 years. Black and Silver original age related number plate going back on the vehicle unless purchased separately. Viewing TS 15 area near Stockton Darlington Middlesbrough 20 minutes from Scotch Corner.
