This car was Ziebart rust treated from new so the underneath looks really good. The bodywork is fair to good. The paintwork is not too good but looks fine from a short distance away. 

The paint has faded, and the lacquer has come off in places, the Fords of this age seem to suffer from this.  The car would benefit from a respray. The V5 says the car is green, however to me it looks silver. The car attracted a lot of attention when it went is for its MOT test.

I have just fitted new front brake discs and pads, new handbrake cable, new front brake hoses, new spark plugs, new air filter and a new petrol pump.

Tyres are like brand new and the original alloy wheels are in very good condition.

The interior has no tears, the carpet is perfect, the parcel shelf has not been cut to have speakers fitted and is perfect. Everything works - even the original Ford radio, except for the digital clock between the sun visors.

The top of the dash is cracked from sun damage again something that happens to lots of this age Ford cars..

The original storage bag for the removable sunroof is there and is in good condition which is very rare.

 This is a lovely little car and all the Mk 1 Fiestas are going up in value. I am cutting back on my car collection so after this I will selling my Sierra 2.9 XR4x4 and an NSU Prinz and an Austin 1800S
